Padel Tournament

Did you already know that we have some avid padel players in our Lemon Tribe? Yes yes, Ivan, Leander, Vincent Bott and Sven can be found on a padel court every week. Moreover, they are all a bit competitive... What is the best way to combine the two? Padel tournament!

We invited all our colleagues to put on their most athletic outfit and enter the glass cage. Where better than on Square Public's iconic pink padel courts? In teams of two, they competed against each other.

Fun fact: Vincent is the most popular name within Lemon, so there are no less than four (!!!) Vincent's working at us😱.

No game without...? Supporters! Of course, our teams could count on colleagues on the sidelines to cheer them on.

A discerning eye will note that only one woman participated. Whaat? That's right, Kirsten, a real power woman! Kirsten is a bomb of energy, she loves to run, ski, play tennis and thus padel. She can stand her ground💪🏻

The teams played six games of 20 minutes each. Thus, all teams played against each other once and one team could rest each time. Already after the first half, Leander and Vincent Goudket were in the lead, having already won all their matches. Ivan and Anton were hot on their heels and determined to hijack the win....

And the winners were..... ** drum roll** ..... LEANDER AND VINCENT GOLDKET!!🥳 They won all the matches, what a great achievement! Of course we all went for a (few) pint(s) on that🍻

After a first successful edition of this tournament, we enthusiastically look forward to a sequel.... 🤫
