In response to the changing needs of Royal Antwerp Football Club (RAFC), we took the lead in developing an innovative B2C communication application.

This project required seamless integration with RAFC's various external systems, including ticketing, website, and communication platforms.

The impressive success of this endeavor is evident from the remarkable achievement of over 10,000 downloads within just two weeks.

Challenge:

Antwerp, a bastion of professional football excellence in Belgium, sought a strategic partner to architect, launch, and optimize their mobile application infrastructure.

With a treasure trove of exclusive content awaiting circulation to their dedicated fan base and esteemed partners, our task extended beyond mere technological prowess.

A comprehensive CMS solution was imperative, alongside seamless integration with external platforms such as ticketing, to ensure a holistic user experience.

Business perspective:

Our goals were diverse, rooted in our commitment to enhancing the RAFC fan experience. We aimed to simplify the registration and login processes, facilitate smooth adjustments to partner deals, expedite content delivery for the RAFC Social team, and maintain the club's esteemed branding through a carefully crafted design.

Additionally, it was crucial to deliver a solution that could be easily maintained and scaled to meet future requirements.

Technical perspective:

Security and privacy were paramount in our design approach. We adopted a 'security by design' strategy to safeguard platform access and data integrity. Similarly, a 'privacy by design' approach ensured data exchange only occurred upon specific requests, with a focus on minimizing data usage.

This unwavering commitment to technical excellence ensured the confidentiality and integrity of user data remained uncompromised.

Solution

Our journey began with the rapid deployment of a foundational version, necessitated by the offline status of RAFC's previous application.

Priority was accorded to furnishing the communications team with a streamlined avenue to disseminate exclusive content to fans and sponsors alike. Subsequent iterations introduced an array of supplementary functionalities, encompassing ticketing services, sponsor collaborations, multimedia integration, event scheduling, and e-commerce capabilities.

Notably, integration with RAFC's backend system for fan profiles further enriched the user experience, cementing our status as architects of digital innovation.

Collaboration

Collaboration was at the heart of this project, exemplified by our seamless partnership with RAFC's Sales and Communications teams. Equally crucial was the tireless dedication of our internal team, who worked tirelessly during the festive period to ensure a timely launch in the new year.

In conclusion, we take immense pride in the realization of this groundbreaking application, a testament to our collective expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.

The remarkable success, underscored by the unparalleled download figures and minimal reported issues, speaks volumes about our ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
